Was the Concorde the first supersonic aircraft?

Not any other aircraft before 1940-1950. info link would be greatly appreciated. "First" in a more modern Sense.|||the first and only supersonic commercial aircraft.|||The first plane to go supersonic was the Bell x-1 in 1947, piloted by Chuck Yeager. Since then there have been many military planes capable of breaking the sound barrier. The Concorde is the only regularly scheduled commercial plane to do it. The Russians developed and built the Tupolev 144 supersonic plane, but it only flew on 55 commercial trips before being withdrawn from service.
