Thats a very exciting place. I just left Costa Rica from a winter surfing trip with a few friends. The trick is travel in numbers never separate yourself rather in the rain forest or in a local town. Costa Rica though it may seem great and I understand you've traveled in the past but some parts of Costa Rica are very, very dangerous.
