Do you want to know how some people get thier inventory to sell on okay? Honestly just think about it. Every season clothing gets marked down at gymboree for instance for 4-5.00 per piece. So you stock up buy a couple hundred dollars worth, store it away with your halloween holiday items. Pull it out between aug-november for the christmas and back to school rush. Most will sell for its tag value or close to it. Because you cannot buy the line anymore therefore they cannot go to the store it is gone. And you have 30.00 in your pocket for one item.
I hate to see sellers selling this type of information. It is a given. Did you know that gymbo employees get a 40% discount, although they are not suppose to sell on okay i am sure relatives etc take advantage and some break the rules I am sure. That is why some gymbo in stores is on okay for a fraction.
Further more boutique shoppers lipstick, lipstik, greggy girl, lulu, ralph lauren and more gymboree, and other fans of other boutiques. Get ongoogle these people are making money off of you being lazy... gee on now. If you want to save you have to be resourceful. Type the line, or just brand name in to start. Then search. Go to the Froogle link. It will give you every item matching that being sold on the internet period. Sort the prices.
Finally there are a ton of websites others make you pay for that i am just going to post here for free that i have found to get real deals from and so will you. Dont be afraid to purchase a loose shirt and put it back or 10 and store for next season to see how you do. Personally i dont have the time or money. I cannot get enough time to get to the sales for myself let alone to sell on okay but i do sell. Have sold. And have lots more to sell. Whenever i am not working fulltime, mommying, and going to school (it willbe over soon) and getting my certs. I will eventually take a couple months and sell sell sell. Every year oct to dec i earn my christmas money off of okay. Selling things.
I know people in my neighborhood who buy at goodwill and resell. personally i dont like the smell of the nwt clothing it may be new but cant be presented as a gift if necessary so i wont sell it. But if you were buying it for yourself you would be washing it anyway so just make sure and disclose that in your auctions. You can find all kinds of deals. Some ladies here in the neighborhood ravage my yard sales to sell it on okay. It is time consuming and more than i can do right now. I have sold and made decent money but not to break the bank or quit a job over.
Another thing i see often. How many of you see an item on okay says retail $350.00 and you actually look for yourself. I do. Often they misrepresent the item to be of more value than it currently is perhaps what they paid or a high end overpriced merchandiser has it for when sears has it for 90.00 so be careful. People are making the mad money off of laziness. save your money. Also the title of an item is alot. I see these items from LTD gemodities and ABC distributing and LAkeside all the time on okay. People price them double what they paid for them. And They are not great products but sometimes have cute stuff. So you buy the auction. They order it in thier name have it shipped to you. They are not out any shipping twice. Just from the gepany to you. Often free shipping deals makes extra money.So find a small gepany that has cute items. Place them on okay. order directly from them. Have it shipped to your customer. BUT MAKE SURE IT WILL BE IN STOCK. this is an issue many sellers dont pay attention to. Essentially some power sellers just upload current catalogs and rewrite descriptions for thier stock which they dont have in stock yo uare paying them to place the order for you. It is not worth double for that.
After seeing so many people paying triple or double foritems that they to can often get for the same price i had to tell you all some stuff... these are nt secrets as some say. They are facts. Think about it. People make a fortune off of services in our gemunities. Raking leaves, delievering the paper, etc, it is the same but when someone is charging me 29.99 extra to type my name in on the web i can do it myself.
